Welcome to
St. George's!
We are a mission station of the Diocese
of the South, of the Orthodox
Church in America, and are located in eastern North Carolina
on the Chowan River and Albemarle Sound. Our priest, Fr. Andrew
Davis, and the parishioners of the church invite you to visit us
or to inquire if you have any questions about us or the Orthodox
Church.
Our Sunday services each week are
at 10:00 a.m. (except annually on Pascha, or Orthodox Easter); see
the 'Services and Events' page for current details.

About Edenton
"Located on Albemarle Sound’s
Edenton Bay this charming village, established in 1712, features
nearly three centuries of outstanding architecture behind
tree-lined sidewalks and along waterfront vistas. Jacobean,
Georgian, Federal, Greek Revival, and Victorian examples make
this town a natural for its two National Historic Landmarks and
numerous listings on the National Register of Historic Places."
